Restoration

For centuries, architectural plaster designs have existed within buildings the world over. Plaster mouldings of varying complexity have been employed from ancient Greece to twenty-first century New York. Because plaster itself is quite durable, many original installations still exist today.

Inevitably, plaster surfaces are mistreated either by well-meaning humans or the erosive forces of  the environment. The good news is that despite most insults — chipping, cracking, missing sections, water blemishing, or dozens of layers of paint — the plaster retains the essence of its allure. With skilled attention, it can be returned to its previous splendor.

Palladio Mouldings welcomes the challenge presented in restoring an original classic.

Modern day techniques and materials can be utilized to duplicate existing trim, recreate detail and resurrect integrity and beauty.
